A previous mechanical phone holder broke and didn’t grip the vent that well. I went to amazon to find a replacement and found this one. I liked the description and ordered it. It came in a proper length of time and was quick to install. It seems to grip the vent quite well, I had my doubts, but it worked. The phone is easy to place and remove using one hand. I like it enough to order another one for my wife’s car.

I almost never bought this because of the bad reviews but I have had so many problems with these holders in the past and this one looked like it would work due to the design of the hook. It works perfectly. The tripod design keeps my phone from falling and moving all over the place. I have a Samsung s10 5g so it is quite large, but this cradle keeps it in place.
